Excellent Children Classes

The classes at 'Excellent Children' create an environment for the children to develop a balanced, harmonious life.

1. Each class begins and ends with meditation, which allows the child to quiet their body and mind, one of the most effective ways to relieve stress.

2. To warm up for class a QiGong is performed. QiGong, a series of physical movements coordinated with the breath will increase stamina and core strength.

3. Hsing I, a main school of traditional Chinese Martial Arts, stresses improving internal elements such as spirit, energy, awareness and strength.

4. Performing Tai Chi, a moving meditation, allows for the yin or slow aspect of physical movement. This simple coordinated series of movements help to balance the child's internal energies.

5. Basic tumbling will allow the child to develop a sense of physical self, their boundaries and limitations.

Martial Arts Program Encourages:

• Physical fitness (flexibility, balance, strength, energy levels)

• Life-skills (discipline, self-control, patience, confidence, courage)

• Self-defense (conflict resolution, personal responsibility, avoidance)

• Behavior issues (attention span, respect, demeanor, self-control)

  4:00-5:30
  

  Fridays
  4:00-5:30
• Sundays
  5:00-6:30

Cost of Program:
Your child may enroll for a 6 or 12 month program. $250 registration fee required. Monthly payments of $160, or significant discount available when paid in full at time of registration.
